About the Team

As a core member of the Workplace department, the Operations function is responsible for delivering amazing services to Mironeers. We are a forward-thinking team that uses innovative technology and a data-driven approach to design and implement the policies and protocols that underpin a safe, secure, and world-class hub experience, directly contributing to our "Integrated Workplace Excellence" framework. The Austin hub is one of Miro's key US sites, and this role is its face.

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, people-first Workplace Coordinator to become the face of Miro’s Austin hub. This role is rooted in hospitality, you bring the warmth, presence, and attention to detail that makes an office feel exceptional rather than just functional. Whether you come from corporate hospitality, front-of-house background or office management, what matters most is that you genuinely care about the experience of every person who walks through the door.

Beyond the front-of-house, this is also a role with growth. You'll take on broader responsibility across operations, vendor management, and events, supported by an experienced global team spanning Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Yerevan, and beyond. For the right person, this is a springboard into a well-rounded workplace career.

What You'll Do

  • Be the face and first impression of the Austin hub, welcoming employees, visitors, and guests with warmth and professionalism every day.
  • Own the front-of-house experience: visitor management, space readiness, hospitality setup, and daily presentation standard.
  • Keep the hub running smoothly behind the scenes: supplies, maintenance coordination, and building management liaison.
  • Support employee experience touchpoints including new hire onboarding tours, internal events, and workplace communications.
  • Serve as the on-site anchor for the North America remote service desk, triage and resolve Jira tickets, escalating when needed and keeping employees informed.
  • Uphold and evolve Miro's office policies, visitor experience standards, and operational guidelines for the Austin hub.
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors end-to-end, schedule, follow through, and catch issues before they become visible problems

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in workplace operations, hospitality, office coordination, or a customer-facing role, mindset matters more than years.
  • A natural hospitality mindset, you thrive on delivering great service and creating welcoming, people-first experiences, able to make anyone feel at ease, from a new hire on day one to leadership
  • Strong organisational skills - you can juggle multiple requests, stay ahead of the day, and follow through without being chased.
  • Clear, professional communication, written and verbal, comfortable at all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach. Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where every day can look different. You anticipate needs before they're voiced and take initiative to keep the environment thriving.
  • Full-time, on-site availability in Austin, TX, five days a week, this is a front-of-house role by design
  • You enjoy creating great spaces and moments that bring people together.

Competencies

  • Experience 2-3 years experience in workplace operations, corporate front-of-house, office coordination, hospitality, facilities support.
  • Experience in a corporate, tech, or hospitality environment where presentation and service standards are consistently high.
  • Technical Skills Workplace & Ticketing Tools: Comfortable learning and using workplace management platforms, ticketing systems, and internal tools.
  • Vendor Coordination: Ability to liaise with building management, suppliers, and contractors for day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Events & Visitor Experience: Experience supporting logistics for visitor experiences, events, or onboarding activities.
  • AI Fluency: Experienced with using AI tools to boost day-to-day productivity (drafting, summarizing) and able to critically assess AI-generated content.
  • Soft Skills Hospitality Presence: You set the tone the moment someone enters, warm, professional and attentive.
  • Adaptability: You adapt quickly when priorities shift, handle the unexpected with composure, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days look the same.
  • Growth Orientation: You want to deepen your craft, take feedback well, and actively improve how things are done.
  • Ownership: You take responsibility for what's in your scope, flag blockers early, and follow through.
  • Curiosity: You think beyond the next task, you notice what could be better and take steps to improve it.
