Position Overview

We are looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Manager/ Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and revenue recognition. In this role, you will manage both SaaS subscription software revenue and hardware supply chains (digital boards/interactive flat panels), working closely with leadership to scale our finance processes globally.

Key responsibilities

Overseas operations

  • Own the overseas financial reviews, including AR operations. Review on a fixed cadence and drive compliance and MIS reporting. Own Order to cash and process ownership
  • Ensure credit risk evaluation, set and enforce credit limits for channel partners, escalate breaches, and resolve disputes with sales and operations.
  • Track DSO and collection efficiency against a target and report variance monthly.
  • Own the order-to-cash process for finance part of it: invoice raising, dispatch documentation, collection, and provisioning for doubtful debts.
  • Identify and fix breakdowns in the order-to-cash flow, and document the process where none exists today.

MIS and Ind AS reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards and MIS reporting for the overseas entities.
  • Own Ind AS FS for standalone and consolidated financials.

Automation

  • Identify manual, repetitive finance tasks and automate them using the tools available, Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, or the ERP directly.
  • Partner with the ERP team on system configuration that affects AR, MIS or automation, and own the finance side of any related rollout.
  • Automate recurring reports so they refresh without a manual rebuild each cycle. Cross-functional and stakeholder management
  • Work with sales, operations and channel partners to resolve invoice and credit disputes without escalating every instance.
  • Own statutory and internal audit for overseas financials and FS.

Requirements

  • Chartered accountant, six to nine years post qualification.
  • Demonstrated ownership of AR ops, order to cash or credit control, not just adjacent reporting.
  • Hands-on MIS or dashboard build experience, able to name a specific report and the decision it drove.
  • Hands-on Ind AS FS, consolidation and dealing with statutory auditors.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, SAP or equivalent, and at least one automation tool, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar.
  • Comfortable operating without a fully built process, in a fast-growing Series B company.

Good to have

  • Experience with a channel partner or distributor-led sales model.
  • Exposure to hardware or working capital intensive businesses.
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
