Role:

A Lead - Accounts Receivable prepares accounts receivable transactions and processes customer payments. They also create invoices according to company practices and submit them for approval by management or the client.

Responsibilities:

• Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
• Preparation of workings for Revenue recognition of Goods & Services as per Ind AS.
• Experience of handling export transactions.
• Preparation & submission of EDPMS data to bank.
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Lead, Accounts Receivable Sr. Executive or Senior Accounts Receivable Associate.
• 5 - 8 Years of experience in the domain of accounting.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (Zoho).
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and finance tools.
• CA Inter+, Bachelors or Master degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
