Who We Are
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
About the Role:
Notion is growing quickly, and our Corporate Services needs are becoming more complex. We're looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager, Corporate Services to define sourcing strategies, guide supplier decisions, and build long-term partnerships across critical areas of the business.
In this role, you'll partner closely with Finance, Legal, InfoSec, Privacy, IT, Compliance, HR, and Facilities to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial terms, manage supplier performance, and help teams make informed decisions across value, cost, quality, speed, and risk.
You'll be a strategic advisor to leaders across the business, bringing market intelligence, commercial expertise, and supplier insights to help teams make thoughtful investment decisions and maximize the value of their vendor partnerships.
This role is based in San Francisco. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
What You'll Achieve:
- Deliver measurable value, savings, and cost avoidance across Corporate Services spend, including Finance & Accounting, Contingent Workforce, Facilities, Benefits, HR Services, Travel, and related categories, helping fund new initiatives while protecting service quality.
- Build strategic procurement plans with business partners, translating business needs into clear sourcing strategies, negotiation plans, and execution roadmaps.
- Shape category strategy and stakeholder roadmaps by bringing market intelligence, supplier insights, and total-cost-of-ownership thinking into planning conversations.
- Operate as an extension of stakeholder teams by aligning on priorities, enabling clear decisions, and driving fast execution while maximizing value.
- Partner closely with Legal and Finance to structure deals that deliver clear commercial terms, budget visibility, and measurable business value.
- Reduce risk across our vendor portfolio by strengthening contract coverage, supplier governance, and performance management routines.
Skills You'll Need to Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or a related field.
- 3+ years owning Corporate Services categories such as Finance & Accounting, Contingent Workforce, Facilities / Real Estate, Benefits, HR Services, Travel, and related Corporate Services categories.
- Experience leading complex sourcing events end to end, including RFx, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
- Strong business judgment and analytical rigor, including spend analysis, benchmarking, business case development, and savings / cost avoidance measurement.
- Deep understanding of source-to-contract and procure-to-pay practices, with the ability to guide teams through intake, approvals, vendor onboarding, POs, and contract handoffs without slowing the business down.
- Strong cross-functional partnership with teams such as Legal, Finance, InfoSec, Privacy, IT, and Compliance, including managing / negotiating commercial and legal terms and a track record of reducing risk while delivering value.
- Experience operating in a highly collaborative environment where influence, relationship-building, and business partnership are as important as procurement expertise.
- Familiarity negotiating software / SaaS agreements that support HR, Benefits, Marketing, or Finance functions, including license models, usage-based pricing, and consumption / credits.
- Experience advising stakeholders on category strategy, supplier tradeoffs, and budget planning.

A Note on AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
