  • Risk & Portfolio Management (RPM) is part of the Corporate Bank and is responsible for portfolio oversight, risk analytics, governance, regulatory support and strategic portfolio management activities across lending and risk transfer businesses globally.
  • The team supports a range of portfolio management responsibilities including portfolio monitoring, capital optimization, credit risk transfer and securitization programmes, regulatory reporting, investor reporting and business growth initiatives. RPM works closely with business, credit risk management, finance, legal, operations and technology teams across multiple regions to support effective portfolio management and risk governance.
  • This role offers broad exposure to credit risk, portfolio management, structured finance, regulatory capital, portfolio analytics and business transformation within a global banking environment.

Role Description

  • We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated professional to join the Risk & Portfolio Management team.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in managing portfolio oversight activities, supporting structured risk transfer transactions, delivering business and regulatory reporting, driving portfolio analytics and partnering with stakeholders globally to support strategic portfolio initiatives.
  • The role is ideal for candidates looking to develop expertise across portfolio management, structured finance, risk management, capital optimization and data-driven decision making.

Your key responsibilities

Structured Finance & Risk Transfer Transactions

  • Support the management and monitoring of credit risk transfer and securitization programmes.
  • Support transaction lifecycle activities including portfolio updates, replenishments, pre-deal analysis and reporting.
  • Monitor portfolio and transaction performance to ensure adherence to applicable requirements and transaction guidelines.

Portfolio Management & Risk Oversight

  • Monitor portfolio exposures, concentrations, performance trends and key risk indicators.
  • Prepare portfolio analytics and management information for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Support internal and external stakeholder requests through data-driven analysis and insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing portfolio management, reporting and governance processes.

Regulatory Capital & Governance

  • Support initiatives related to capital optimization and risk management.
  • Support internal audits, regulatory reviews and governance exercises.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain process documentation, controls and operational procedures.

Your skills and experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global and dynamic environment.

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of financial products, credit risk and portfolio management concepts.
  • Knowledge of structured finance, securitization, regulatory capital or risk transfer mechanisms is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, VBA or similar tools would be beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and data quality.
